Rehabilitation treatment

Mission Life was contacted by Janka with a request for help with funding a rehabilitation stay for her son.

“Damianko will soon turn four, he was born prematurely, and the consequences showed in the course of the first six months – his diagnosis is spastic quadriplegia. Since then, we’ve been fighting for an improvement of his health condition.

We have managed to do far more than the doctors have predicted, Damian is able to walk, and he is mentally healthy as well. We have taken part in various exercises and therapies in order to subside the spasticity on the legs. After the operation, he still needs a couple of rehabilitations, so he can finally walk on his own legs without crying and get a chance to live like his peers.

Unfortunately, our financial budgets make it impossible for us to afford the necessary rehabilitations. This is the reason, why I reached out to you, kind people, with a plea for help. We sincerely thank you in advance.”

It was a pleasure to be able to help Damian, and we believe that said rehabilitation exercises will fulfill its purpose above expectations. We wish a lot of patience to our little fighter, and we hope he’ll soon be able to carefreely have fun alongside his friends.

“I would like to thank you for the funds for Damian’s rehabilitation treatment which you have granted us with. We sincerely thank you, it will be an immense help for us. We try to rehabilitate regularly, but unfortunately, we can’t possibly afford a thousand euro sum and an accommodation for a three weeks stay, considering it’s necessary every three months. It is quite demanding financially. Thank you so very much, we appreciate your help, which will greatly help us in our situation. We wish everyone in Mission Life all the best, and most importantly, health – the most valuable thing in life.

With kind regards and deep respect, Damian’s mom, Janka.”
