International walking competition 2015

Mission Life financially supported the 8th year of international walking competition in Bacúch.

‘Walk of Bacúch — trophy of J. Pribilinca’ is an inspirational event for every age group. Its uniqueness is based on the participation of professional runners. For example, this year we welcomed the representative of SR Matej Tóth or even the Olympic winner from Soul of 1988, Jozef Pribilinec who participated on Kilometer for health with his son.

80 walkers from seven countries participated and were divided into ten categories. The biggest triumph belonged to the category of youths where Slovak walkers won three fantastic golden medals. An international walker Erick Barrondo from Guatemala, who won the silver medal on Olympic Games 2012 in London for 20km walking also participated in the competition.

There were activities prepared also for the non-competing guests in a form of walks for better health.

Mission Life believes that a high participation and a perfect atmosphere during the whole event are positive stimuli to people of all ages to take care of themselves and move for their health.
