Accommodation at the championship

Our civic association financially supported the sports school Galaktikos with a grant for their accommodation at the floorball championships.

In May the boys participated in the Slovak National Championship in Trenčín and in the tournament of Elévs in Brno, where they fought for valuable medals.

We sincerely congratulate the talented champions for all their small and big victories!

Thank you so much for your support. Here are the results of the 2 tournaments which we participated in during the 2 weeks:

Our boys from the older junior division showed high quality performances on the Slovak National Championship in Trenčín. We placed on the great 5th place from 24 teams from all over Slovakia, just like the younger boys from the junior division last weekend.

The boys played 29 matches during the season from which they won 27 and lost only 2. They lost in the finale against the winners of the tournament from Martin and in the match for the 4th place against Žilina (In both matches they lost by 2 goals). On this tournament they won over Trenčín, tied with Dolný Kubín and won easily over Florko Košice (the team that placed second on the championship), Spišská Nová Ves and ATU Košice as well.

During the weekend the boys participated in the 3rd annual floorball tournament of Elévs —for the trophy of the mayor of Sokol Brno I where they won bronze medals from 20 teams who participated both from Slovakia and Czechia!!!
